Pioneering eco-inventor and philanthropist Ed Douglas Miller, who recently appeared on the Channel 4 show The Secret Millionaire, has pulled out all the stops to launch two new products to his unique range of recycled andenvironmentally friendly products; a children’s t-shirt made from recycled plastic bottles and cotton, and two types of eco-plant containing compost made from recycled UK household and garden waste.
Remarkable is an environmentally conscious UK manufacturer and supplier of recycled and eco-friendly stationery, gifts and original products. Owned by Ed Douglas Miller, the company uses an eco-manufacturing process to create new and inventive products from UK waste and is housed in a 30,000 sq ft classic old red brick factory in Worcester, powered by renewable energy and employing 30 members of staff and recycling over 10 tonnes of UK materials every week.
The new children’s t-shirt emblazoned with “I am remarkable”, is hoped to be the start of a fresh new clothing line at the company. Made from recycled plastic bottles and cotton, this t-shirt is presented in clear tube packaging made from recycled polypropylene which can be used again afterwards as storage or a desk tidy.

The striking new eco-plant designs were inspired by an existing relationship with a top UK gardening company, with pot plants and pouches available for green fingered fans to grow their own basil, busy lizzy, forget-me-not, pansy, or strawberry seeds. The Remarkable “Green House Pot Plant” and “Green Belt Pot Plant” packaging is made from UK recycled plastic and recycled paper wrappers, containing compost made from recycled UK household and garden waste, with a biodegradable lid that helps to germinate the seeds once planted.

All of the new products can be bought online through the buy online, alongside hundreds of other budget friendly and eco-conscious gift ideas for adults and children alike.
These latest design initiatives and inventions create yet another success story for Remarkable, with founder and inventor Ed Douglas Miller and his team relentlessly conjuring up new product ideas and ways to safeguard the environment.
“One of the greatest goals of Remarkable is to keep raising environmental awareness, continuing to innovate and create stylish products while inspiring others to start making small everyday changes,” explains Ed. “A hallmark of Remarkable’s philosophy is that being environmentally friendly can be good fun too!”
