DESIGNING
ARTWORK FOR YOUR PRODUCT
If you don't have an in-house design department
or you aren't sure where to start, we are very happy to lend a hand. Simply
email artwork@remarkable.co.uk
with anything you would like to appear on your product. Suggestions would
include: a simple logo, company strap line, campaign message and contact
information.

ARTWORK
Artwork consists of logos, images, text
and any other information you wish to place on to any of our products.
Black and White or Line Art is the only form of artwork that we use for
design (we add your colours at the printing stage). This is defined as
flat shapes, lines and flat areas of design that DO NOT consist of gradients
or shades. You will find most company logos are generally in, or are available
in, this type of format.

FILE FORMATS
Please note all file formats must be compatible with a PC.
Vector Images - SUITABLE
- Corel Draw version 11.0 or below (.cdr)
- Adobe Illustrator CS 2 or below (.ai)
Pixel Images - UNSUITABLE
- JPG, TIF, Bitmap and Word documents are not suitable. If these are
all you have, please call the Artwork department on 01905 769 999.
We can recreate or redraw logos and designs if necessary. If you require
this, please call us for further information on 01905 769 999. There
will be a small charge for this service.

TEXT/COPY
When supplying us with text, please make sure you have converted all fonts
to CURVES and/or OUTLINES. If a font has been included in your artwork,
but is not on our system, the artwork will more than likely not open the
way it should. If you want to check with us
first whether we already have the fonts you require, or if you would like
to supply us with any fonts, please make sure you have the rights to do
this.

COLOURS
If the artwork you are supplying consists of one or more colours please
remember to specify the PRINT COLOUR/S. If you require a more specific
colour, please refer to the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for this.
