Hi, I am Ed and I founded Remarkable back in 1996, with the sole aim of recycling UK waste materials back in to something useful. Instead of talking about it I wanted to take a practical approach by making really funky well designed recycled products. Most importantly the products had to tell a story… of what they were….and…what they are now, some identity and highlighting what can be done.

Turning one plastic cup into a pencil was the first idea. The UK uses over 4 billion cups a year so we took them out of the offices into our factory and turned them into pencils and then sold them back to the offices.

This started the remarkable journey and we are now recycling over 10 tonnes of plastics, tyres, paper and card each week, turning it into remarkable products. We have our own UK factory (boy hood dream) and we invent and make all our machinery and products.

We are all concerned about the environment and how it will impact us, I feel Remarkable allows access to these concerns, by proactively recycling and using recycled products and opening our imagination to what can be done.
